Groundwater Solubility Line

Prior to geochemical analysis, we must prepare individual samples to be 'clean' i.e. free of any means of alteration or contamination. This is carried out in the Mineral Separation Laboratory where we can crush rocks, sieve out various size fractions, separate minerals (either magnetically or through the use of heavy liquids) and finally hand-pick the most pristine crystals which will be used for analysis.
